Malaga Airport (IATA: AGP, ICAO: LEMG), officially known as Malaga-Costa del Sol Airport (Spanish: Aeropuerto de Málaga-Costa del Sol) is the fourth busiest airport in Spain after Madrid-Barajas, Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca.


It is an important Airport for Spanish tourism as it is the main international airport serving Costa Del Sol. It is located 8 km (5 miles) southwest of Malaga and 5 km (3 miles) north of Torremolinos. Malaga Airport counts with two runways. 

The 85 percent of its traffic is international, offering a wide variety of international destinations. A huge part of the traffic comes from countries in the European Union and United Kingdom: Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark.

Malaga Airport is a focus city for Air Europa, Ryanair, Norwegian Air Shuttle and Vueling.

During 2023, Malaga Airport registered a total of 22,444,373 passengers.

Malaga- Málaga in Spanish- is a beautiful port city located in Costa del Sol, south of Spain.
